So a couple months back Supreme took to social media to tease us (as per) with its new SS17 collection.
The post showcases a lightly washed denim jacket with a giant Marlboro Man-esque graphic on the back, which may be a nod to their 2009 collaboration with the tobacco company. 'GRIND' magazine has been flexing some of the key looks in the streets of Rome, featuring a red Obama anorak. Too wavey.
Much alike the teasing before the awaited release of the mad hyped collaboration alongside Louis Vuitton, Supreme as always LOVES a good play around and my god the brand is going all out this year, with a further couple collabs to be dropped again with The North face and Comme drew Garcons. Also With a rumoured surprise Supreme X Thrasher collab to soon be dropped. This won't be the two brands first rodeo, having worked together previously in 2011 and 2015. Comprising the range is a selection of crew jackets, zip hoodies, shirts, pants, and T-shirts. A pop-art motif features heavily throughout, along with text typical of the two brands which reads “Skate and destroy” and “Why can’t my boyfriend skate?!” Accompanying the release is a video by the legendary Mark Gonzalez. You can catch that over on the official Supreme website.
Supreme however aren't the only ones to be seen doing big things alongside Thrasher mag this year as HUF have announced their annual collection with Thrasher by the annual Tour De France.Titled the “Tour De Stoops” collection, the new range incorporates elements of skate, lifestyle and cycling fashion together for a cohesive look at a new perspective." With a diverse color palette of pastels such as a sunny yellow and mint, the collection’s selection of almost athletic-looking silhouettes gives way to a powerful take on intermingling."
Thats all for now, STAY WAVEY.
