90'S REVIVAL- BAMBOO HOOPS

So carrying on from yesterdays 90s trainer revival, it got me thinking. Gold trainers are back in but so are the hoops! If you know me you'll know that i wear a LOT of gold jewellery. I have no time for silver, soz. I never take my gold off, apart from my first ear piercing which get swapped to bigger gold hoops for night out. Ive always loved bamboo hoops, used to grab them from the hair shop down the road in birmingham for £2-3 max. However, these have become somewhat of a money making scam, they came about last festival season and I'm sure they'll be even bigger this year too. I've seen them being sold in urban outfitter for £16! Daylight robbery, girls get yourself to the local weave shop and I'm sure they'll have some for you. Or better still get yourself on eBay they're probably even cheaper on there as they aren't made of any type of precious metal. Old school celebs have been flexing them since day but recently the likes of RiRi and Rita ora have opened up this item to a new audience and if worn right can be a real 90's statement. But just don't wear them with anything too neon girls else you'll look tackier than a tacky thing on tack day.

Although, i do love a bit of tack. Only a little, which brings me onto a little boutique i found on insta called @shopdopegirlsclub and let me just tell you their stuff is absolute RAGE. Providing all types of bamboo hoops you can even get personalised with your name on, now thats a little bit of me! I already have a gold necklace with a H on, but Heidi hoops would bang, come on. Teamed with some colourful braids this summer, which i will be blogging about next. Student life got me so skint at the moment. If i had £30 to spare this is deffinatley where i would spend it, they do little pendants and I've even spied a pair of YSL earrings and a Moschino style choker- definitely worth a browse on big cartel. They're UK based and you can't get this stuff ANYWHERE else, trust me I've tried. They're doing big things here i can feel it, stay gold 90's babies. Join the revival.
