Pippa Middleton arrived for her wedding this morning wearing a spectacular lace-bodiced, high-necked wedding gown created by Giles Deacon who said "It's a privilege to show the craftsmanship that my team produces in London and a real testament to Pippa's support of British fashion,"

The dress is constructed with a cap sleeve, high neckline and features a corseted bodice with draping to the front and a heart-shaped detail at the back.

The bespoke silk cotton lace was hand appliqued to create an illusion of the dress having 'no seams', which personally is my favourite part. I hate seams, especially VPL. Visible panty line for those of you who were wondering what that means. The lace bodice is embroidered with pearl detailing over an organza and tulle underskirt, which has layer upon layer to enable a floor-sweeping movement. Which looked the part but surely can't have felt it, the texture of organza is enough to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

Her face was covered with a delicate bespoke tulle veil dotted with pearls and made by milliner Stephen Jones.

The bride also wore a Maidenhair fern tiara by Robinson Pelham, the Middleton family's go-to jeweller, and ivory satin pumps by Manolo Blahnik with pearl detailing, a customised version of the label's pricey £715 Seneca bridal heels. As for her 'something old'? The same Robinson Pelham pearl earrings which she wore for her big sister's royal wedding in 2011.

Whats even juicier is that Pippa actually featured on the hit TV show 'Say yes to the dress' series two with David Emanuel, no stranger to the royals after her designed Lady Diana’s sensational wedding dress in 1981. Since then he’s become a mainstay of the British wedding design scene.
