KENZIA

When my mom was younger she saved up to get a Louis Vuitton rucksack she had always wanted, she wore it all the tim until rucksacks 'went out of fashion'. Growing up i thought the bag was super un cool and i would never be caught dead in a rucksack, even for my books. In secondary school the first chance i got to carry a ridiculously small tacky handbag through the gates, i took it! Now I'm older and have more of a love for my brands and fashion i took a liking to this bag and all things expensive. With the 90's wave the backpacks were back, and of course i found myself asking. "Mom, you know that LV rucksack you have?" mom: "The one you've always hated?" Me: "yeah, can i borrow it?".

It took a lot of convincing but before i knew it i was borrowing it every weekend and mom ended up saying "well all it does is sit in the back of my wardrobe you may swell have it." I was ecstatic. But of course, this bag is nearing 20 years old and as we all know, nothing lasts forever.

Of all places i was in a rave in London when the left strap breaks, i try not to panic and just wear the bag on my one shoulder. Until of course the weight of the bag bearing on one strap gets too much and POP. There goes the right strap, gutted. Fixable, but at a price. A very high one, so until I'm working again over summer i wouldn't be able to get it fixed.

Much to my delight however a few weeks later my parents went to rome, and came back with a new rucksack for me. Aren't i lucky. Its leather, a much more appropriate size and somewhat similar to the LV bag in the sense its the same colour way and has a similar allover print. Instead of the LV logo the print features cute little seashells, accompanied by gold zips and clasps. It really looks the part with its silk lining and is made so well, mom said the lady in the shop said it will last a lifetime. A hell of a lot longer than the last rucksack ey! We shall see...

The bag is by a brand called 'Kenzie' and is very well known in Italy. My mom got a matching handbag which is equally as lovely and it the original bag by the brand, i couldn't find too much about it online. Bags are available to buy on Amazon and Ebay but it seems if you want to buy a new one and see it for yourself and try it in a shop its going to be even more expensive than an LV as you really will have to go to Italy to purchase yourself a Kenzia. I love mine!
