MY LOVE FOR VINTAGE GARMS

As you may have noticed i really am a 90s baby, 98 so i nearly missed it! But my god do i love my brands, spellout items and big brand labels have been my thing for a good 2-3 years now and the only way i can afford them is if their not brand new. Ever since i got my first job and had some disposable cash i became a bargain hunter, wether it be at carrots, online of in vintage stores and instagram sites nationwide and worldwide. The great thing about vintage shopping is more than likely the item your buying is headstock and only a handful of other people (if anyone) own that item. So individuality is almost guaranteed. This is something that i love and one of my pet hates is being out and about and seeing someone in the same thing as you. Or even worse, turning up to and event or night out and your mates wearing the same outfit... embarrassing! I want to be me and i don't want anyone else to come close! Ofcourse its faltering when someone takes inspiration from your style but lord, when they copy you item for item i don't half flip. Anyway, I'm getting a little of subject. Vintage!
Another thing i love about vintage shopping is you never know what your going to get! You can really make a day of routing around for a hidden gem, and the feeling when you find a whopper, oh my. I get too distracted shopping with friends, i find the best person to go vintage shopping with is my madre. Also theres something rewarding about giving an item a new home and a new lease of life! Doing your part for the environment also, as I'm not a big buyer in chain stores if i can help it as i do not support fast fashion. Although being a student sometimes we have no choice when moneys tight and your jeans are ripped (in the WRONG place) we have to hit Primark. Heres the best thing about retro farms if you ask me: as i said earlier you can get designer brands at half the price, if not less! Some people move too 'boujee' and refuse to wear second hand clothes. Personally i think you man are pathetic, I'm dripping in designer garms and i feel FABULOUS, even if your nana wore them. Swallow your pride b.
