CRYSTAL VALENTINE

Victoria Secret has took the world by storm with its angels and diamond encrusted lingerie, from thongs to brazilians you wouldn't have thought theres anything that could make you feel quite as sexy. Until now, the instagram boutiques have taken over with handmade lingerie that serves only one purpose, to look amazing. So why not go wild this valentines? As theres not enough material to do much else- infact no material at all as these fine pieces are made purely of crystals and metal. Ofcourse they're not the comfiest but I'm sure the idea is that you won't be wearing them for long, unless worn as a statement piece bralet to a festival or rave either with nipple covers or onto of a plain cotton bra let to avoid friction. ouch. These oh so glamorous pieces are I'm sure as a result of the diamond chocker trend, taking luxury up a level. More as an item of jewellery than lingerie, I've even spotted some crystal suspenders i was debating teaming over the top of a pair of black bicycle shorts for festival season but was scared they would be too uncomfortable and more suitable to you know... indoor activities. So as a more comfortable alternative crystal fishnets are now available, a crossover of the fishnet and crystal choker trend for sure. Ive picked up a pair of nude and black ones for parklife in June. Although they come at quite a price they're sure to turn heads, top tip for preventing fishnets from ripping is when you buy a new pair of tights, run them under water for a few seconds, squeeze out the excess, then freeze them overnight in a plastic bag.When you take them out of the freezer, let them come to room temp gradually before wearing. You only have to do this prior to the first wear, and it's said to extend the life of your tights. A weird tip i know, if its too weird for you either hand wash your tights or just don't put them in the same washing load as your bra's because them hooks are devils!
