BURBERRYxNIKE TN AIR

Everyone has a guilty pleasure, hobby or obsession. Mine isn't just shoes, its trainers. People say they love trainer or have a lot of trainers, but i really do have a lot of trainers. I have nearly 30 pairs now, not of shoes but of trainers alone. Ever since i started making my own money, every disposable penny i had was spent of trainers. Ive built up quite the collection. However it isn't just buying trainers that interests me, its watching the trainer drops online. What new trainers is coming out: where and when and what price. I like to read their reviews and see who's wearing what, how i can re-invent a pair of trainers with a new outfit or accessory. Or reinvent their appearance completely. I can't pinpoint what it is about trainers but i feel incomplete without them, and feel obliged to have a new pair at least roughly every 2 months.

Ofcourse we all have our dream wardrobe and shoe closet of things we know we may never be able to afford however at the start last year i got lucky. I am a fan of depot and eBay as a lot of my clothes and trainer i buy are used as being a student i cannot afford them brand new, especially when buying limited edition items. So: i was on a eBay and was searching for a new pair of Nike TN's after selling a pair of mine. I refreshed the page and there they were, a limited edition of pink NikeXBurberry crossover TN's, only 50 pairs ever made in women sizes. The description read "selling cheap worn once getting rid of my ex girlfriends stuff'. I couldn't believe my eyes, i think the purchase of a lifetime £50. I don't think i will ever top that purchase. No RRP as they are simply impossible to find, or maybe not? My prize possession at the moment, and my first every Burberry item.
