MY FIRST TRAINER PURCHASE IN NOTTINGHAM

I have previously mentioned my obsession with trainers, but since being at uni have tried to save my pennies despite having my eye on a pair of trainers (Mint Satin Nike TN's) since i left Evesham. However today in Footlocker i saw them, reduced from £139.99 to £79.99, and i just couldn't help myself. I had to! I must admit, i don't regret it one little bit. I feel completely satisfied. Casual yet classy as the satin gives them a feminine twist. About as feminine as a pair of trainers can get. Well, i guess the baby pink ones would have been more feminine. However this colour is very unique to a pair of trainers and i think it very striking. A colour my trainer collection has yet to meet. All of this Nike Satin collection is in this years pastel colour palette, in fitting with the silk theme we have seen in this years came tops on high street stores with the pyjamas as outerwear trend. I feel the colour i have chosen is timeless and striking enough to go with any outfit as they make a statement of their own. Will have to avoid the rain though, splashed out on a £15 can of crep protect to shelter my new babies. Nike are bringing out a deep red colour in these for the winter period. Which i might just have to invest in...
