NECKLINES

Yesterday was my first day back at work at Outfit. When working of course we have to wear clothes which are of the sort sold instore, to advertise. Ofcourse thanks to Depop and all the vintage stores i have been visiting in Nottingham, ALL of my clothes have brand logos on. Which I'm not allowed to wear on the shop floor at work. As its getting colder I'm after some new warmer clothes, jumpers in particular. So i invested in some plain jumpers which i can wear for work. I purchased 4 crew necks and a polo neck.
When buying jumpers and tops you do need to be more careful than you think. For example, i have fairly broad shoulders. So to prevent them from looking even wider, i go for a crew neck rather than a wider neckline. However if you have more narrow shoulders its best to opt for a wider neck to broaden them rather than slim them even further which can give a frumpy appearance. Also, i have a particularly long neck. Nicknamed giraffe at dancing when i was younger. So i can get away with polo necks, however if you have a slightly shorter or thicker neck. Steer clear of polo necks, they won't do you any favours. Go for a v-neck, to elongate the neck and create a much more feminine shape.
