So, i recently downloaded the app DEPOP. Being a fan of vintage sports clothes and big brands at a small price, eBay and asos marketplace have always been my best friends. However, Depop has opened new doors from me as even when your a bit skint you can still grab a new item by getting rid of an old one. Not only does this save money, but it saves the time and effort of putting an old item up for sale as you can just regularly upload pictures onto your profile of unwanted items. Accompanied with a simple caption. Exactly like Instagram in this way and also in the sense it gives you notifications as and when you need them (if someones interested etc)! If someone loves your item they simply click buy or make you an offer, or ask if you want to swap- at which point you can look at their profile and see if they have anything you are interested in having in exchange. So far i have got a Pink Versace Jumper for a measly £15, and a Moschino 2 piece co-ord (skirt and top) in exchange for 3 old unwanted Tommy Hilfiger polo shirts. Both things i have received have been on time and were exactly as described, obviously this isn't the case every time depending on the seller but so far my experience has been not too short of amazing. Everyone loves a bargain, especially when it looks a fortune. Its also great for style inspo too as you see so many comings and goings of items, and sometimes it gives you a head start on trends if you see a lot of the same sort of things at the same time on the 'explore page' (which works the same as the one Instagram). It allows you to see what your followers and who they are followings buying/selling history. If you like a lot of things on a persons profile you can simply follow them so you don't miss out on what they upload next. The Depop app is free i just wish i downloaded it before because it has been around for a while, couldn't recommend it more.
