Our first trip wth my Fashion Communication and Promotion course was to London. We went mainly to gather pictures and information for our trends (tea cup cuffs). We managed to find LOADS of our trend in high street stores, especially on oxford street. We got several examples from higher end brands too in selfridges and Libertys. One dress i found was nearly £1000, our trip to london taught us the higher the price the bigger the cuff. Some of them were absolutely ridiculous, certainly items you couldn't wear whilst eat your your roast dinner.

Although we had work to do, we did find time to explore. Somewhere i had always wanted to go was a restaurant called Sketch, famous for its insane interior decor in its two main rooms, bathroom and equally insane prices. So, we booked a table in the bog standard public cafe at the front of the building. Ofcourse we pretended to look at the menu, and then asked for directions for the toilets. We were then lead through the main rooms. One decorated as a jungle with woven chairs and leaves hanging from the ceiling, the other completely covered in pink wallpaper with pink crushed velour 60's style chairs. With our snapchats on record (obviously) we continued up the huge white spiral marbled staircase into bathrooms where the individual toilets where in little egg shaped pods placed randomly around a completely white spherical room resembling a space ship. After taking a couple more snaps we quickly departed with heads down, straight past our table as £60 for a glass of champagne seemed a bit steep. So we headed for a much cheaper option for lunch, Campden Market. Another of my favourite places alike the Lace Market and Digbeth with its bright colours and quirky character, theres no place quite like Campden. Sites you won't see anywhere else, good and bad! I indulged in a box of chinease street food, which i ate in a red and white striped deckchair overlooking the locke before buying a pair of handmade hoop earring off a little indian man in the stables. A thoroughly enjoyable and fulfilling day completely worth the extremely uncomfortable coach journey.
